Museum Quality: All prints are created as Limited Editions and are crafted with the finest available materials for rich, detailed images and exceptional print longevity. The prints are produced using an Epson Stylus Pro 9600 printer with Ultrachrome Inks. This state of the art digital technology employs pigmented inks on fine art papers to produce images that can last a lifetime. In fact, current digital printing technologies produce artwork that will last 2-3 times as long as the best traditional, photochemical prints. Display conditions, however, will effect print longevity; therefore, it is unreasonable to make specific claims about the exact life expectancy of a print. Please refer to the Wilhelm-Research web site for additional information on print longevity and this exciting new technology.
Print Finishing: All prints are mounted on pure white rag (cotton), acid-free museum matboard with a matching beveled window over mat. Prints are not available unmounted, as mounting materials and techniques can influence print longevity. Framing is available, including several metal and wood frame options to compliment the elegant simplicity of the matted print. See the Framing Studio for framing options. Framed prices include mounting, over matt, frame, glass or acrylic and hanging hardware.
Limited Edition: All original prints are Limited Editions and are numbered and signed by the artist. Once an image is sold out, no additional signed prints of that image will be created or sold. The first five to ten numbers in a series are not for sale, as they are reserved for exhibitions. The last five numbers in a series are produced only in the two largest available sizes. Edition numbers vary.
Print Sizes: Most prints are available in sizes ranging from 11x14 through 30x38 inches (12x27 through 24x54 inches for panoramas). A few, however, are available in a more limited range. Refer to the individual images for available sizes.
Print Prices: A drop down list of print prices is available on every individual image page in the galleries. Prices are based on print sizes and finishing options.
Glass or Acrylic : Please note that larger framed prints, 16x20 and above, will ship with acrylic rather than glass to reduce the risk of damage. Acrylic is both safer to ship and reduces the weight of large framed prints making them easier and safer to hang, particularly in areas of high traffic. Acrylic is also optically equal to or better than glass. The softer surface of acrylic does, however, require cleaning with a cotton cloth rather than paper products. If you prefer glass on a larger print, we are happy to ship the print without acrylic and prorate the framing cost so that you may have it installed locally. Alternately, if you prefer acrylic on a smaller print, let us know when you place your order.
Delivery: Prints are individually made to order, including actual printing, mounting, and framing. The print is then numbered and signed. Please allow 7-10 business days for printing and framing plus transit time for delivery.
